Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. Just by taking that first small step in reading about counselling and what it can offer, shows you are thinking about what is happening in your life at this moment and perhaps being curious about how it can help you.
To let you know a little about me, I am a qualified, BACP accredited and registered counsellor, and have experience in using numerous counselling approaches which are flexible and tailored to suit your needs. I am based in Knutsford, Cheshire and have worked within an NHS setting as well as crisis support.
Throughout my career, I have always worked in a caring role, with people being at the centre of what I do. I have worked in Human Resources, welfare and advisory roles and always had the belief that people are unique in themselves, their lives and experiences, no two being the same.
I have a depth of experience counselling those who have been affected by cancer; including patients, family members, friends and carers and how this has impacted on them in so many different ways.
I am warm, approachable, have a calm presence and believe that offering a safe and comfortable environment will enable you to talk about whatever you feel you want to explore and work through. I pride myself on being real, honest and deeply empathetic and able to work with you at your own pace.
